Job Title: Security & Fire Sales Consultant
Location: Midlands (Remote with the requirement to visit the APS office as needed)
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience)
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Role Overview:
APS is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team, specialising in Fire and Security systems. This role involves driving business growth through new business generation, account management, and the design and implementation of bespoke security and fire systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the Fire and Security industry, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Generation: Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand APS’s market presence.
- Account Management: Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- System Design & Implementation: Design and implement Security and Fire systems in line with relevant standards, ensuring compliance with FIA and NSI regulations.
- Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, driving business growth.
Who We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales within the Fire and Security industry.
- Strong knowledge of FIA and NSI regulations.
- Expertise in system design with familiarity with products such as Galaxy, Pyronix, Advanced, Hikvision, and Paxton.
- Exceptional new business development skills with a proven track record of generating leads and closing sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Full UK driving license.

What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, with the potential to negotiate based on experience.
- Uncapped Commission: OTE £55,000 – £65,000 per annum.
